Life in a day

I watched a documentary a few nights ago. It's called Life in a Day.

It is all filmed on 24th July 2010 and was shot across 192 different countries. All people who participated were asked to answer 10 of the same question. Obviously being filmed in such different countries gave very different answers.

It was a very moving documentary and well worth the watch. A bit slow to start off but hang in there!

It really makes you appreciate what you have.

Thera band

Good morning everyone!

After watching some great work out clips on youtube i have found the perfect workout partner....my thera band!

A thera band is a resistance band and is great for a butt workout! They are about $7 from Ebay, however you can probably pick one up from your nearest Physio.

Seriously a 10 minute workout leaves you pretty sore in the morning so make sure you do a good warm down.

If your not soaking up the sun this weekend on a 45ft Catamaran don't worry I'm not either, that was my weekend last weekend!

Sun, ciders and a cheese platter over at Stradbroke Island. 21 degree heat and barely a cloud in the sky - a perfect winters day!

This weekend will probably be a quiet one. Some cooking, cleaning and maybe a good book!

Get Active!

I know it's not always the most exciting thing, and people try and avoid it...i'm talking about exercise!
However, i have found a fun way to get in shape.

So how it works:
Sign up online for a day subscription for $2
Bring your helmet (or hire one)
Ride the Brisbane City Council bikes around the river, through the botanical gardens and around southbank for only $2 - just make sure you dock your bike every 30 minutes

For $2 you can't go wrong. Grab a mate and ride together whilst taking in the amazing scenery of Brisbane.
